About Rockhaven Arts
Rockhaven Arts creates unique one-of-a-kind tables & bowls.
Each wood creation starts as a rough chunk or slab of wood selected for the rich grain pattern that will end up highlighted in the finished piece. Searching saw mills and other off the beaten path places is part of the process of locating dramatic one of kind pieces of wood.
Each design takes shape as the wood is worked allowing each piece to take a unique form. After each piece is created at least 5 coats of finish are applied to complete the work.
Retired from a successful business career Steve now spends time in his WV woodshop creating his unique wood art. With the rock'n roll playing on the radio and the wood chips flying he combines his engineering background and sense of design to produce one of a kind creations.
